The "season of goodwill" will come to a dramatic end on 1st January 2010 as VAT rates will revert to 17.5%. (Remember to update your accounting software). Any VAT invoices raised in December for services/goods that will be provided in January should generally be charged at 15% VAT, but as always there are exceptions to the rule!
